Changing or cancelling a scheduled post

Move it to another time

Click the post on the calendar to open it, then pick a new time in its Schedule picker. Or drag it to another day: it keeps its time of day.

Edit the text

A scheduled post’s text is locked, so what goes out is exactly what you approved. To change it, take it back first:

1. 1Open the post and choose Cancel scheduled post.
2. 2Confirm with Cancel post. It goes back to being a draft, with no date.
3. 3Edit it, then schedule it again.

Post it now instead

Open the post and choose Post now, then confirm. It goes out within about a minute.

Good to know

Times are always shown in your own timezone, in 15-minute steps, and must be in the future. Posts that have already gone out, or failed, can’t be moved. A failed post has its own fix: Edit & reschedule.
