Last updated June 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Karrow, operated by Karrow (“we,” “us”), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Service. By using Karrow, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information, your name, email, and authentication data, handled through our authentication provider.
- Newsletter content, issues we ingest from the publication you connect (beehiiv or Ghost) using the API key you provide, including titles, body text, and publish dates.
- Connected accounts, authorization tokens for the social accounts you connect, so we can publish posts you approve.
- Generated and edited content, the drafts, edits, and scheduled posts created in Karrow.
- Billing information, handled by Stripe; we receive billing status and the last four digits of your card, never full card numbers.
- Usage data, log and product-analytics data about how you use the Service, to improve it and keep it secure.
2. How we use your information
- To operate the Service, ingest issues, generate drafts in your voice, and publish the posts you approve;
- To process payments and manage your subscription;
- To provide support, send service-related messages, and improve the product;
- To detect, prevent, and address security issues, abuse, and fraud;
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. AI processing
We send your connected content to Anthropic’s API to generate drafts in your voice. This processing is performed to provide the Service to you. We do not sell your content, and we do not use your newsletter content to train third-party foundation models for unrelated purposes.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with subprocessors that help us run the Service, and only as needed:
- Convex, application database and backend hosting;
- Anthropic, AI draft generation;
- Stripe, payment processing;
- Zernio, scheduling and publishing to your social channels;
- Your connected platforms, beehiiv or Ghost and the social networks you publish to;
- Product-analytics and email providers that support the Service.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Karrow and its users.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we remove your account and associated personal data, except where we must retain certain records to meet legal or accounting obligations.
6. Your rights and choices
You can access and update your account information in settings, and you can delete your account at any time, which removes your personal data. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data, contact us to exercise them. You can disconnect any newsletter or social account at any time to stop further processing of that connection.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls on connected credentials. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will notify affected users of a breach as required by law.
8. Cookies and local storage
Essential storage keeps you signed in and is always on. For non-essential analytics we store first-touch attribution (how you found us) in your browser’s local storage, and only after you choose “Accept” in our consent banner. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
You can withdraw consent at any time using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control in our footer, or by clearing this site’s data. Withdrawing stops further attribution capture and does not affect the essential storage needed to sign you in.
9. Children
Karrow is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post changes here with a new “last updated” date and notify you of material changes where appropriate.
