Key words in Karrow

Publication, issue, channel, option, draft, playbook, voice: what each one means.

Your workspace and newsletters

Workspace: your team’s home in Karrow. It holds your publications, your team, and your billing. Everyone in a workspace has the same access.

Publication: one connected newsletter. Each publication has its own voice and its own channels, and it’s also what you pay for: four newsletters are four publications.

Issue: one published edition of your newsletter. Issues are what Karrow drafts posts from.

Where posts go

Channel: a social account Karrow can post to, like your LinkedIn profile or a Facebook Page. Channels belong to a publication.

Primary account: when a publication has more than one account on the same platform, the primary one is where posts go by default.

What you write

Option: one of the AI suggestions Karrow drafts for a channel. You get several per channel to choose from.

Draft: a post for one platform that you’re still working on. A draft becomes Scheduled when you pick a time, then Posted once it goes out (or Failed if the platform turns it down).

First comment: an optional reply Karrow posts right under your post, a good home for a link.

How Karrow writes

Voice: how your publication sounds. Karrow learns it from your own recent issues and from what you keep, edit, and discard. You can add your own rules per channel in the publication’s Voice tab.

Playbook: a post format that’s working well right now, like a numbered list or a hook-and-payoff. A playbook shapes a draft’s structure, never its words or your voice.
